Course Contents

It can be so hard upsetting when our child’s behaviour is angry, aggressive, and violent. As parents and carers, we often feel guilt, shame, and even blame. You are not alone, and Pinpoint knows that there is a reason why our SEND child is so distressed. Jo Keys is with us to explain what could be happening and how we can help our child.

Pinpoint provide help and information to parents and carers of children and young people aged 0-25 with additional needs and disabilities in Cambridgeshire.

No formal diagnosis is required to access support from Pinpoint – a child may be on a waiting list, accessing services, had a referral turned down, or just be struggling.

They offer signposting and events for all things SEND and are the Parent Carer Forum for Cambridgeshire. Pinpoint also give parent carers opportunities to have a say and get involved in improving local services.

You will be sent an email once registered from Eventbrite containing the Zoom link to access the session 2 days before, 2 hours before and again 10 min before. Please do check your junk mail and spam folders as these emails sometimes end up there! Look out for an email with an Eventbrite registration link!

*You can keep your camera off and stay on mute and simply join Pinpoint and other parent carers who ‘get it’ from your sofa 😊
