Bios of Speakers:
Dani is an experienced special needs teacher. She loves to build strong relationships with her pupils and works frequently with behaviours that challenge.
She is a trained Jai Parenting coach and works with parents to parent in a more gentle and empowered way. Dani gained her counselling qualifications at Hills Road Adult Education centre. She is the co-director of Creative Mindset, a therapeutic alternative provision who offer behaviour and wellbeing consultancy in schools. Lastly, she is also a Mamma of 2, of which she’d describe as her best and hardest job.
Sharon has worked in mainstream and special needs schools for the past 14years. In her career as a teacher Sharon has held many roles form Mental health, Behaviour and Well-being lead to designated teacher for LAC. Sharon has worked frequently with behaviours that challenge and has been responsible for creating an innovative bespoke and highly motivating curriculum (now know as the Well-being Curriculum) for the hardest to reach reach young people. Sharon strives to make a difference to the lives of every child she works with. She is the fellow co director of Creative Mindset, a therapeutic alternative provision who offer behaviour and wellbeing consultancy in schools. Sharon is a mother to 4 children 2 boys and 2 girls, she has 14 grandchildren and is family orientated, spending most of her free time enjoying days out with the family or camping.
